As promised– here is my birth story if you are interested:

At 3:00 on Monday, November 11th I went to the doctor for my weekly check. I was 39 weeks, 3 days. The nurse checked me and told me exactly what I expected, “You’re still high, thick and closed. I left discouraged and everyone in the office said, “See you next week!”

It took me almost 2hours to get home in bad traffic and my back was really bothering me by the time I made it. Usually my back hurts in the car so I wasn’t completely surprised. I came inside and laid down on the couch to rest. The back pain kept coming. I began to notice that it was coming rhythmically and I thought, maybe I should get up and walk around to see if it’ll goes away. It didn’t. I thought these are timeable, maybe I should time them… I didn’t think they were contractions though, because they didn’t feel like anything anyone had told me they would feel like. So I started timing them to see if there was any pattern. There wasn’t. But they were getting more painful and really bothering my back. I called Cory and told him to
