Ya know, sometimes kids are apprehensive about cake smashing- it makes sense, for a number of reasons.
1. Usually they haven’t had anything that sweet before.
2. They are constantly being told to not put things in their mouth.
3. They aren’t in the place where they are usually given food.
(Of course these rules are mostly thrown out for non first-born children LOL)
But don’t worry! I have an arsenal of tricks to make sure we still get those perfect cake smash images!
John wasn’t super interested, okay he wasn’t interested at all, and he actually gagged at the taste of the icing and tried to get away!
I am still so in love with these images, he’s such a cute happy kiddo, covered in cake and not!
