Y’all, I am so excited about this one!
As if a cross country move wasn’t enough, Eric & Katie are in their first trimester! (Although it’ll be much further by the time I hit publish on this blog post.) They stopped for less than 48 hours in Franklin to visit family and we met up at the same location as their engagement photos almost exactly four years ago to take some pregnancy announcement images! We did a lot of recreating the same poses (or close) but this time pregnant instead of engaged, and I just loved it so much. I get so giddy about this type of thing. Additionally, being with people through the “monuments” in their life- weddings, pregnancy, etc. is my favorite thing about being a photographer. I sure hope they will bring that little nugget (I’m still guessing boy!) back here for some portraits as he (okay, or she) grows up!
