Carissa is so special to me. I have known her for about 8 years now although it honestly feels like so much longer. You may remember her (and Rachel) from this precious BFF Shoot we did a long while back. Well, this weekend is super special for them both. Carissa is graduating college and Rachel is getting married! I am so honored to be part of both experiences and to be able to take photos of them both. Carissa is graduating from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences, with a Child Studies concentration with a minor in Sociology. Her goal is to work in ministry and she will be pursuing that by interning with RUF, a ministry near and dear to my heart, at Appalachian State in North Carolina. This is a support-raising position which is such a tough thing to do but if I’ve ever seen someone truly following their calling it’s this girl.
