Hi! My name is Sarah and I offer professional photography in Brentwood, TN. Brentwood is a beautiful city full of parks, nature trails, gardens and a lovely arboretum. I love taking advantage of all Brentwood has for photo backdrops.
I work with all ages and events to capture details and freeze time. I love working with the same families through stages of life, becoming friends, and growing together, from weddings to family life to teens, I seek to document life as it is, with a story-telling approach. My photographs are created in a bright, colorful saturated way that is warm and inviting, and also presented in a matte black and white that shines with emotion.
I have built my business on what I would want to see as a consumer. I have been part of this industry for more than 10 years and have experienced it as a consumer as a high school senior, a bride, and now as a mother. My goal in every session, regardless of if it is a birth, a wedding, a Christmas card mini session, an annual birthday session for a kiddo, or an extended family get together is that you get what you want out of your session. I have high energy and a deep awareness of the emotion of a moment. Please reach out, let’s talk about what you need and desire in a photo session and make it happen!

Cool Springs House ( www.coolspringshouse.com) – deeply rooted in the history of the Brentwood and Franklin area the Cool Springs House and surrounding buildings has been standing since the 1830s. The city of Brentwood gained ownership of it in the early 1990s and moved it to it’s currently location at Crockett Park. It is a beautiful venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers and parties of any kind. There is space available indoors and outdoors for events or photo sessions. I have done many sessions here including a handful of weddings and I can say it’s truly one of my favorite places to shoot.
Deerwood Arboretum & Nature Center – take a step out of the city and into nature at this beautiful park. Multiple trails allow children to explore or couples to stroll, and with the numerous bridges, creeks, and gardens there are endless backdrops for any type of photography session. The almost 30 acres and over 60 different types of trees are home to birds, wildlife and lots of butterflies! There is a stunning wildflower meadow as well as ponds full of water lilies. This location is perfect for going on an adventure during your session.
Marcella Vivrette Smith Park – a unique property that is also home to the Ravenswood Mansion ( www.ravenswoodmansion.com ) this park is a great spot tucked away just north of Cool Springs off Wilson Pike. There are almost 400 acres of rolling hills that can offer backdrops for any occas
